As a public relations practitioner, communications consultant and public speaking coach, I have written and edited reams of content (from news releases and speeches to websites and books) for more than 20 years.
In 1995, I ghostwrote From Rags to Riches, a semi-autobiographical book by Mohamed Al Fahim, an Abu-Dhabi-based businessman. From Rags to Riches has since been translated into seven languages and sold tens of thousands of copies worldwide.
In 2011, I edited From Scattered to Centered: Understanding and Transforming the Distracted Brain, by Dr. Alicia Maher. The book offers a wide array of resources including medication, psychotherapy, alternative therapies, Eastern practices and other modalities to help people manage ADHD and ADHD-like symptoms. More about Dr. Maher and the book here.
In 2012, I worked closely with leadership coach and author Jacqueline Throop-Robinson on her soon-to-be-published second book: 50 Ways to Fire Up Your Team: For Leaders Who Want to Connect, Create and Collaborate With Their Teams. A hands-on guide, 50 Ways is chock full of practical and proven techniques for leaders to effectively lead their teams to unparalleled success.
I am now in the process of writing my own book about the 18 months I spent caring for my 84-year-old mother who has Alzheimer’s.
